Road trippin' through Northumbria National Park, one of my favourites but that may be a little bias. Starting with a little wander through Bellingham village, particularly having a nosey in the little bookshop there. Then through the woods to see Hareshaw Linn Waterfall. We were hoping to go for a dip in the waterfall pool, but it wasn't the deepest when we went so decided to try somewhere else. We ended up at 'Policeman's Pool' in the River Coquet in Shillmoor - a real lush spot (-55°21'51.0"N 2°11'24.2"W). This road trip was inspired by Zanna Van Dijk's page on Northumberland National Park*, it's also a great site for all things hiking and found it so helpful with starting hiking.
